I was just thinking about the nature of outward focus. What I mean by ' outward ' focus is being absorbed by external things like other people, physical activity, learning, discovering.
It's only when I focus on 'outside' things that I can be happy. Outward focus, by nature doesn't mean losing yourself in any way, it means applying yourself so that you absorb the outside and it becomes you, you integrate it into your consciousness by your active concentration on it. It's the only way to develop and progress.
Who ever changed by looking in the mirror?
Hello Vox!
I just discovered this blog site and it looks like a fit, I'm excited!
I need to get back to reading about Government philosophy, de facto/de jure, so can't post alot.
I am gearing up for a blog post on international gov. status quo, particularly that of Russia, China, and India. Very excited for that!
Hopefully I can find some like minded bloggers in here somewhere and be part of some kind of network- I appreciate the additions to the site like file uploading-collections, audio, video-pretty cool.
I wanted to find a blog site that had a lot of members to network with, and nice layout and graphics touch, and an active management team that posts updates and keeps developing it which is great. :D
Also wanted a more comprehensive writing application than what they have on LJ, on here I can mold my font and text size and style, plus there are some cool attachment items.
Glad to be here!
xregards
